“Business or pleasure?” I always answer “Both”. Context…
It’s my last day in Santorini,
and I’m having sooo much fun
building out sales process for one of my clients.
It’s not work:
I thrive in helping B2B revenue teams crush it!
——————
Last month I was in the middle-of-nowhere
when a Midwest hotel receptionist asked:
“Business or pleasure”
and as always
I answered:
“Both”
I was in town to help an exec team
tie buying dynamics to
prod/mkt strategy.
Again, I thrive in this kind of work.
——————
I’ve texted nearly every one of my clients
to check in while I’ve been poolside,
hiking, devouring gyros.
I’m literally obsessed
with my client’s success.
🟥🟥🟥 WHAT'S MY POINT? 🟥🟥🟥
1️⃣
Well, I’m grateful for my clients.
I love being in the trenches with them.
2️⃣
And you need employees who do the same.
(obsess about your clients)
🟨🟨🟨 WHAT YOU NEED 🟨🟨🟨
You want sales reps
who can’t help but to be
progressing deals while they’re away.
Customer Success reps
who can’t help but to come up with
new strategies for their clients on Saturday afternoons.
Marketing talent who are ideating
the next way to wow your ICP
while they’re waiting in line
at the DMV.
❔❔❔❔❔❔
How are you vetting for this kind of obsession during your recruiting process?

→ If you need sales process, and an
→ operating partner obsessed w/ your revenue goals,
→ I’m happy to make your business my newest obsession
→ in a totally professional, non-creepy way. (I promise)
